Re-designing SpaceLab’s website (About Page now Live) and building the Official Fundraising Deck for investors.

Brief and Outcome

My Role :

An extensive two-year project to build and launch their product (the exoplanetarium) into a worldwide market.
Deliverables include website redesigning, product design and a company fundraising pitch deck.

About Spacelab

SpaceLab, established by emerging tech professionals, serves as a talent incubator. Leveraging outer-space exploration technology, the organization endeavours to cultivate real-world products. The primary objective is to empower early-career tech professionals through collaborative, cross-functional team experiences, equipping them with the skills necessary to secure lucrative positions in the tech industry. In the initial six months, Spacelab engaged over 100 participants hailing from seven U.S. states, spanning four countries and two continents.

During this period, the collective effort resulted in the successful development and execution of a Machine Learning Model for detecting Exoplanets from NASA's Kepler Data. Additionally, Spacelab launched its inaugural website at http://spacelab.space, playing a pivotal role in recruitment efforts and generating interest in the organization.

Website Design

About Us Page:

Space Lab hires many interns because they have a lot of information about their staff, and multiple pages on the website, and they want to put all the information on one page.

Solution -

  • In the first iteration, we have developed a movable navigation bar that helps users differentiate between staff categories. This bar enables users to click on specific categories to find team members easily.

  • In the second iteration, we further improved the navigation by separating the founders from the rest of the team, providing even more clarity for the user. Additionally, to reduce confusion, we have created sub-pages within the About section that contain more detailed information about the team members and their roles. With these improvements, we aim to enhance the user experience and make it easier for visitors to navigate and find the information they need.

Company's Pitch Deck designs

The company's mission is to provide opportunities to those who might not have them otherwise. The SpaceLab team has grown to over 100 people from more than 7 states and 7 countries on 4 continents but all of our participants are folks that can afford to work an unpaid internship.

To provide the educational experience to anyone who wants it, they have to be able to provide paid internships, fellowships and staff positions. With your help, they can remove the financial barrier to the educational opportunities they offer. For that company needs a pitch deck so that they can raise funds to grow the company. And I help them with a fundraising pitch deck.
